Last weekend, I got a rental car and drove from my home up to New Jersey. Because I live fairly close to New Jersey, my drive only took four hours (that may seem like a long drive, but you have to take into account the fact that I was driving on Friday, so the traffic was a lot heavier than it is during a normal weekday). The reason that I took a trip up there was to spend the weekend with some of my family members. I have an uncle, aunt and cousin that live together in New Jersey, and from the day I was born, they have played a big role in my life.

I think the reason that they still play a big role in my life is because the four of us always have such a good time when we’re together. For example, once I got there Friday night, we all went out to dinner together, and we spent the entire meal making jokes and laughing non-stop. Although I love them all just like I love every member of my family, we connect on an even deeper level (like I connect with all of my good friends).
