For the last couple of years, I have gone on the typical Spring Break trip. In case you aren’t exactly sure what the typical Spring Break trip involves, it’s basically spending four to seven days partying non-stop on a beach. While it sounds like fun (and speaking from personal experience, it is a lot of fun), after a couple of years, it gets a little old.
Although several of my friends thought I was joking when I said that I wanted a more laid back Spring Break trip this year, it was something that I felt strongly about. I am starting to get older (at least older in the sense of I am no longer a teenager), and the typical Spring Break trip just didn’t appeal to me this year.
Therefore, instead of a week of booze and the beach, I decided that I am going to visit New Jersey. I have several family members who live in New Jersey, so I think it will be a fun but relaxed way to spend my Spring Break, in contrast to the non-stop partying of previous years. You can call me boring, but I have a really good feeling that I’m truly going to enjoy myself during this Spring Break.
